Introduction to scentwork workshop
Thank you Clare for the scentwork session today. It was just what my K9 tornado needed, it was good fun and absorbing for both of us and just what I need for her. She’s happy as Larry right now, nodding off over her chew, rather than selecting which object in my living room she can demolish. Can you run these days everyday perhaps 😂. Highly recommended folks if you need focus for your pooch.
Introduction to Scentwork workshop
We have recently joined Clare’s Introduction to scentwork and scentwork part 2 workshops. Both workshops were very well structured and fun. We started off by teaching our dog to search for hidden treats in a small area progressing to the whole room. In the second workshop we replaced food with a clove scent and practiced indoor, outdoor and in a vehicle! We left home with a tired dog and so many new ideas of what to do with our collie. Thanks to Clare and her team for a fab day!
Confidence Walk
Went on a confidence walk with Claire. Best walk my dog has ever experienced. Gave me alot more confidence to let her off lead.
Confidence Walk
Been going to group puppy classes and confidence walks with My puppy Huskita Murphy. Clare is a brilliant trainer full of knowledge and really helpful ideas , she’s given me the confidence to let my 6mth old puppy off the lead and using many recall techniques
Couldn’t have done it without Clare and Muddy mutleys 🐶👍
Scent Workshop – Introduction
Just did an amazing scent workshop with Claire and Andy from Muddy Mutleys. So enjoyable for us and the dogs! Different activities that totally engaged the dogs and got them focused on the tasks. Difficulty level was built up steadily. Our Springer girl loved it and came home happy and very tired! Looking forward to the next one.
Scent Workshop – 2
Spent an amazing afternoon with Clare and her team doing the second Scent workshop with our Springer spaniel Tia. We revised some activities and then moved onto finding a specific scent rather than just food! Tia loved it. Learning how to work with Tia to allow her to find things using her sense of smell was so rewarding. Lots of ideas to use at home which have been so useful when she was on restricted exercise due to an injury. We learnt such a lot and to see Tia thoroughly enjoying doing what a spaniel does best was brilliant. Looking forward to Scent workshop 3!
