This is a 2.5 hour workshop based on 6 dogs taking the course. If there are less dogs we may finish sooner but will still have covered all elements of a fun filled day.
A dog’s nose is remarkable and is their most developed sense. We see the world through our eyes, they see the world through their nose. During this fun workshop we will learn more about this amazing ability and allow them to really shine and show us what they can do. Whilst we learn how we can give them really powerful enrichment opportunities that will help them feel calmer, happier and more fulfilled. Searches and scentwork games are also fabulous tools for behaviour modification work and for building confidence and creating positive associations with their environment.
They will love showing you what they can do!
Spectators are welcome.
This course will give you an introduction to passive searches. Our dogs will be looking for hides among boxes and luggage. They will conduct a furniture search and weather permitting do some searches outside too, against the clock….
