Teaching your dog yoga is scientifically designed to teach your dog to be calm. Many dogs suffer with really high arousal and find it difficult to settle and to switch off.

Each of the postures are designed to calm and to regulate the dog. A lot of the positions and movements are also used to communicate calming signals to other dogs.  We wouldn't cue these postures when out and about as we want our dog to be free to communicate as they wish, but by practicing these postures they are more likely to be used naturally by the dog plus, like smile therapy, they naturally promote feelings of well being in the dog.

Together we can coach a fizzy dog to enable him or her to learn more, and show them calm postures and new ways to help themselves become calm after excitement.

Dog Yoga is about giving the dog a choice and enables us to work at the dog's pace.
